In MI & it cold , we are under a snow emergency It -3 degs. & with the wind chill it's -25. It's been snowing for the last 3 days . I've had to have the drive plowed 2 times in the last 3 days. It not going to be any better for the next 4 days. The kids have been out of school now for the last 3 days & we don't think they will be going on wed either. In the next county you will get a ticket if your out on the road.

Just announced Most all local schools, Country and City Facilities closed for tomorrow due to Winter Storm Warning.

Airport closures and delays already in place.

Morning to noontime expected to be another typical day. From noontime to 3pm is when the freezing rain, sleet and snow is forecast.

Now that everything is prepped and closed - it probably won't even precipitate!!!

-10 where I'm at, -17 where I live and will be back this afternoon. That's air temp, not wind chill. Wind chill is -26 and -32 respectively.

Just glad the winds are calm compared to Sunday when we had steady winds over 30MPH and gusts in the 50's.

8 here this morning, not as bad as I expected. We've got heat & working toilets in the house I'm finishing up but the guys will still be complaining!

Red face

We had around 2 weeks of warm weather. Before that we had triple amount of snow in December than usual. Snow on roof finally melted off. Yard still too deep to walk thru and dog goes on the driveway!

Very cold back east ... you guys will be out of it soon...just send the politicians outside for an hour!

Great photo. I love the roads, scenery, towns and people on the drive from:
Grand Junction to Momtrose to Silverton to Durango.

Anyone planning on being in the area, I'd highly recommend calling ahead and booking tickets on "The Parlor" car for a ride on the Durango Silverton narrow gauge railroad.

2" after a "dusting" was forecast. I had to walk the last mile and a half home after driving 22 miles from the office. Idiots......

Snow here in Talladega AL also.

All the Technology and they still can't get it right.

Lots of people in Birmingham going nowhere on highways . A big mess.

We don't see this weather too often.

I know that for many down there - they've never had to drive on snow and just don't understand how to maintain control of a vehicle under slightly slick conditions.

But for us northerners - that's just too funny....

Up here, we just go ahead and drive in a lot more snow than that.

It takes something like this to make us consider walking.

Back in the day, we'd just shovel a path out and drive away....

People down here like to stop going UP hill. I managed to get up on the freeway where I could run 40-50 mph and you'd find some broad with her emergency flashers on going 15 in the left lane. Talking on the phone....

We have a cool down starting tomorrow. Rain and wind with highs in the low 60s. By the weekend, we're back to normal.
