It does sound like an honest effort was made to resolve the issues - I do understand about the time, but to be honest Id NEVER WAIT for two years to get stuff together-- not unless I excepted at least some of the blame for the issues at hand and felt the time issue was a shared event. Some times " relationships" just dont work and everyone needs to move on, If one side is a complete dick - thats the time to throw stones - if both sides just can not find middle ground to work on - time to move on.
I keep seeing stones being thrown towards Dick as if he is incompetent. He made 920 HP (with 13.5 to 1 compression) with a set of Butler wide ports and a manifold by KRE. His car has run well into the 7's @ over 3000 lbs on a hot summer day at Norwalk, who else can say that?

As far as issues, **** can happen and it's how things get resolved is what makes the difference IMO. Nothing bothers me more than a dissatisfied customer (fortunately I have not had many). Having an adult conversation about what happened and the best course to correct it can make the difference as this is a small community and paths can likely cross again in the future. A fair amount of time has passed, 2 years ago when Dick was frustrated, he didn't come in here and blast Gaby and it wasn't until "shots were fired" that brought this out.

Theres quite a few stones been thrown Gaby's way too. I have no dog in the fight....but the guys who have been happy with the performance Gaby delivered them, Have a right to be skeptical and point out that they were satisfied customers.

Mike,

Reread Dicks post. He's not bitching about the performance as much as the other things.

I get that.....doesn't change my post or opinion. Or Dicks, or gabys customers...

I really don't have an opinion other than a bad deal for all.

Dick -

I was hesitant to ask this question because I don't want it to appear I am starting sheite. But I really am curious and looking for clarification. When you ran your back to back ehead to CV1 test, were you using the eheads that made 920 hp, 860 hp or a different set?

So is the PY board a bad place for posting this info, not really.
Info just tells the people buying that it is not a perfect world out there.

BE PREPARED for less than you expected. BE HAPPY when you see outstanding work like the "Magic Man's" stuff. Course MM is making the stuff for FRANK.

Even FRANK has issues with stuff not always being dead nuts on the money at times.

But don't let it drag you down Dick, because that is water over the dam now.
Climb back into the saddle and start a new day. You are still here, breathing.
Beats the chit out of the alternative. Lets go racing in 2014!

Or does it look more like a couple guys discussing their Ideas and theories completely unchecked. Those theories and hypothesis are the GOLDEN rule and whomever has the best IDEA wins regardless of facts or some racers experience IN THAT VERY AREA.

THERES A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE HERE IN THE RACE SECTION.

lots of us help each other out of problems and improve each others combos. Some are only here to gain or share knowledge....thats cool too. The problems start when there is no separation between IDEAS and EXPERIENCE. THEN BACK AND FORTH. 9 times out of 10 that back and forth is someone with actual experience and more usable data asking for the IDEA to be verified with some facts.......THE SHEIT HITS THE FAN WHEN THE DANCE STARTS. Somewhere in here we need to insert the cheerleaders of products and vendors because of philosophy or emotional attachment, or detachment. Saying the IA2 sucks and the MR1 is the BEST while owning neither is just RIDICULOUS! If you examined the 2 and have an opinion fine....state it as such and move on. Same for heads.....and before either side gets all excited.....BOTH sides are evaluating each others performance. Failing to recognize the performance or lack of on either side makes you an emotional weiner. LOVE your favorite football team...hate the other guys if you want. This math and physics not an allegiance sport.

Would make for more useful and enjoyable forum if the IDEA guys would just say " why no I don't have any proof to back that up......Do you have some particular experience or useful data that you can share?" Both sides can potentially learn something here. The Idea guys can contribute as well as I'm always interested in ways to make hp or go faster with what I have...and so are others.

I won't sit idle while theories are discussed as facts. If you even have a reasonable argument for you theory OK cool I'll listen. But If guys want to feel like a big shot and say things that may cause just one person to waste their hard earned money......there are going to be folks to set the record strait. Just how it is
Mike,
Sorry it has taken sometime to answer your question, but I been busy updating my software and making picture for a thread on another forum.

A thread like this is more of the technical type of discussion that I enjoy.

in other words option 3.

cool graphs, your program is very good for that....these are more able to accept simulations than the whole coating thing, etc.

Tom,
I screwed up on the second graph and so I just stayed with that stroke for the third graph.

"screwed up on the second graph "

Be careful, you are getting close to the "Management will never know the difference" mode of operation.

Mike,
I might know what option 3 is if you had numbered your original post. But not a problem you can ask and answer your own questions.

Mike,
Someday you will learn the difference between theories and calculation based on the laws of physics. I do post some of each. I have no problem with discourse as long as the other person can stay on topic.

I know the difference right now and have for some time....I asked you to substantiate several of your hypothesis. You never do. you just carry on with the premise its golden truth and only you "REALLY" know. Thats a nice little world you've built up there. Theres a few here with more knowledge than you think.

Carry On teaching.....I'll only ask for proof or some data if It involves suggesting things will work that clearly won't. And I'll have data....sorry if thats offensive to you.

NOT sorry if your buddies get all butt hurt in the process.

he's to busy avoiding the questions asked of him in this thread. he stops posting in a thread when he gets called on the carpet. just like he did in the rambling thread when I asked him the same question I asked here. kinda the same response usually given to the question about a certain cars race weight....none.
