I'm a little late finding this thread but the car in question has a late June build date also. That would further narrow the odds that it was a genuine CanAm.

AD= LeMans

AF=LeMans Sport Coupe

AH=Grand Am

AG=Luxury LeMans/Grand LeMans

There are a couple of documented Can Ams with VIN'S and build dates within a few days of the red LeMans Sport Coupe that was in the E-Bay auction. However, no information has surfaced to date to prove that this car was anything but a cool 400 powered red LeMans Sport Coupe. The most logical thoery to this car is that it was a dealer conversion, and nothing more.
