Pretty cool.
My parents special ordered their '67 2+2 at Utter Motors.

My dad rolled it in Kirksville, Mo. I have PHS docs somewhere that names the dealer but I don't remember the name. Anybody?

No dealer tag on it.

Key Pontiac, Elmhurst, IL. Buyer told the dealer NOT to put a dealer sticker on the car. He didn't want to spoil the apearance and feared damaging the paint taking it off.
Key Pontiac turned into Howard Pontiac in 1975, today it's Howard Buick GMC at the same location.

I've never been able to determine the original dealer where my car was sold through.
The punch card was not conclusive on a dealer.

And my documentation only goes back to about early - mid 80's on previous owners....

My GTO was sold new at Bill Barry Pontiac in Santa Ana Ca. I would really like to have some sort of emblem or plate frame for the car. I have nothing from the dealer on the car.

My Formula came from Hobelman Motors, Hebron Nebrasks. I bought it from a guy in Grand Island, NE so it never went far. No tag on it.

My 64 GP was ordered with ps, pb, rear seat belt delete, m-20 4 spd (BW T-10) F-40 suspension and vinyl top. Came from Myrtle Motors/Maspeth, NY. Car was built on my wife's birthday 12/6/64. I have no original paper work for the car, or the wife for that matter( a 57 model) but would find some extra funds to acquire a plate frame or trunk sticker/emblem. surprised so many are original owners. Congrats.

I never thought of this until last week when somebody else brought it up: my '65 GTO, '63 Grand Prix and '63 Lemans all reside roughly 10 miles from their final assembly location in Pontiac Michigan.

The GTO stayed local, coming through Royal Pontiac in Royal Oak.

The GP went to Ludington Michigan and back (Stevenson Pontiac).

The Lemans went all the way to Summer Pontiac in Des Moines Iowa before somehow finding it's way home.

My pickup lives about 30 miles from its final assembly location in Flint Michigan after circling through Montana and then Arizona.

Just picked up this 1971 T-37. Thought it was neat that the Taber Pontiac tag survived all these years.

Another shot of the Majestic Pontiac sign taken when I took my son back to the old neighborhood and showed him around in 2004.

I took my first GTO test drive in a white '64 Tri-Power automatic at Majestic. The salesman looked very pale and was having a hard time catching his breath when we pulled back to the dealership. Looking back, I'd say that might have been a career changing ride for him.

Majestic was about 5 miles from my dad's business that was also on Crenshaw up around 67th. When I finally did order my '67 GTO I went to Dolman Pontiac in Inglewood, CA. Majestic had really went down hill in the three years from 64 to 67.

A few years ago I pulled my car up on the trailer and caught the front license plate frame and broke it into pieces. I still kick myself for that.

Arrow Dockum in Oklahoma City

If anyone has a Dockum Pontiac trunk lid logo from the mid sixties in good shape, I'd love to buy it. Mine is toast. Was mounted with two holes drilled in the trunk lid that held two snap in retainer clips.
Says Dockum Oklahoma City and has the Chief Pontiac head.

Don't have extra one for sale. But can post a picture of one if you would like to see one. Les

Unfortunately, I don't. My PHS docs didn't include the sheet that your site references. I only know the dealer because I ordered a window sticker replica.

My original dealership, Bob Longpre Pontiac had 3 locations in CA. I've always seen plate frames for the Westminster location, never for the Monrovia location where mine was from. I'm still temped to get the other through.

My '69 Judge was sold new 25 miles from here at Jenny Pontiac in Janesville, WI.
I found a couple of tags in an area salvage yard. The best one was on a '66 Bonneville. Not perfect, but can't complain.
My daughter named my car "Jenny the Pontiac."

And no, I didn't drill holes in my trunklid...

Sure, post it up..it's got to look better than mine, badly pitted and broken in two. You know, I would have been irritated to have ordered and paid for a car to find that the dealer had drilled the trunk lid for their logo.
