Very awkward spots...but it's all coming out nicely.

Had to re do the body line and redo some old repairs.

Looking good. What color will it be and what modifications do you plan on?

Nice.. and it's looking good so far. It always amazes me when I see the right hand drive cars and the work they had to do to make them that way. Nice to see another RHD car being saved.

Thanks.

Yes... Thank god these days we can legally register and drive Left Hand Drive cars in Australia..... Actually I'm not sure if in All states it's legal.

Have a LHD 1960 Caddy. Hardest parts...going through a drive through.... and over taking on a highway. LOL

Spent an afternoon under the car degreasing and scrubbing.
Car has been off the road for 35 years....and none of the previous owners had cleaned it up! LOL

Needs one more pass at cleaning it all up before stone guarding the underneath after the car gets painted. The floors are really good on this car. I suppose you don't get much rust after only 12 years worth of driving.

Looks like Terry should have a new nickname.... 'Spot'. LOL

All that crud build up over the years is never a fun job to clean. Not even at a car wash. Crawling under is even worse. I feel for ya on that job.

Oh, let me ask a dumb question. Where in hell are the jack stands? Yer askin to end up bein a smushed spot ain't ya?

Is rust a problem down there? If so is it ocean spray or road salt?

Jack stands were under when I was cleaning.
It was pack up time when that pick was taken.

Def safety first.

Not a fun job at all....but it is getting there. will put it up on the hoist next time to make things easier. Will be getting covered in crap anyway.

No road salt down here.
But yes...sea salt can be a problem.

I live about 45mins from the ocean.... far enough to not have to worry about the sea spray.
