After better than 20 years of pleading with the other half she finally caved in.
Put this up about 5 years ago. 45x40. Natural gas furnace and insulated. Want to put in a mezzanine for storage someday. Also can't decide whether to install either a 2 post or a 4 post lift It's a metal building with the front spruced up a little to match the house. ![]() Bill |

Spray foam is the way to get more R value in a 2x4 stud. Will you get at least R 19? Got those joist hangers on those 2 x12s already? Thats a "coachhouse" for sure!

Joist hangars are installed. With the foam, house wrap and sheetrock should be about R25-30 all in.

Mudslinger, I have both a 4 post and a 2 post. If it's just to store a car the 4 post is great but if you're gonna use it to work on cars alot then the 2 post is more user friendly.

Closed cell encapsulating the entire upstairs room, roof and west wall. Blown cellulose on the rest.
Outside is waiting on Concrete and light installation. ![]() All insulation finished: ![]() And a window installed upstairs to overlook the lift bay

Is that the Arlington plant Judge which Quint Stires built?

No, both Judges are Pontiac MI built cars

Ah, ok. The wing on the polar white car looks black, which I remember that as being an Arlington plant only option. Had a 1 in 50 something chance of it being his build --

I thought that might be the case. Last time I studied up on the 70 Judge was 20 years ago. At that time no black spoiler cars outside of Arlington we known. Good looking stable.
Let me know if you need an extra hand or anything else. |
