Absolutely dont listen to the guy at the shop. MOST epoxy CAN NOT be sprayed over etch. They contain 2 different acids and will react. Ive restored lots of cars and they all go either right from blasting to epoxy, or from blasting, to Ospho, to epoxy. Never ever had a problem so far. I have also sprayed a half dozen products over SPI and never a problem with that either.

Default SPI

Another vote for SPI. One of the nicest products I have ever used and their tech support can not be beat.
