Do you mean the stud for the throttle cable on the center carb? It does look like a shorter stud than is correct for '65, but can't tell for sure. When using that "J" linkage on a '64, we used the short stud pictured and a long stud for '65. Now that we have the 9777060 '64-only linkage kit, the match-up is better with the throttle cable brackets for both '64 and '65 Tripowers.
