My knowledge of Ponys is not thorough but IIRC all Mach ones, etc were SportRoofs...

Hey, none of that matters. Lots of chrome underhood goodies and it has Cobra emblems, so that makes it a real Cobra.... If you believe that, you've been snake bit.

You are correct that all Mach 1's were sportsroofs ... but the ad doesn't mention Mach 1.
The car is a 70 T code inline 200 c.i. six coupe. Where the term "Cobra" comes into the equation is anyone's guess.

I saw one go for, as I recall, $4K on ebay a few years back. Same year, I saw a '69 TA hood go for $7K.

After a look under the hood, I think he should put "Pontiac" in quotation marks rather than the year. I guess that's why it never runs hot. At least he's realistic about the price.
