Default Bird guy gets Judge

After years of looking for a Judge I have bought a 70 and have a few questions to ask about the car and what are some of the correct parts to round up for those that are missing. Please keep in mind that I have never owned a Pontiac A body of any kind before. The first question is about the cowl tag I understand the WT1, M-21, D80 part, the the color is 06 06, what does the 6 mean? I thought that Orbit Orange was just O.Also what cars got the black rear spoiler? I need to find the right radiator, should it be a 3 or 4 core ? and is the shifter the same for console and non-console cars? I need to find the right shifter and handle too. I'm sure that I will have many more questions to ask. Thanks.

06 is code for orbit orange. It's my understanding there are no orbit cars with black spoilers. Is it a Canada car?Shifter is the same from 70-72. Console or no console. Bo rad tag if 3 core,PA tags if 4 core. You could have either. Check phs. Hope this helps

Some trim tags have 06, while others have 60 for the paint code. Both are Orbit Orange. If the other codes are on the tag, it's an Oshawa built car.

Default Orbit 06

M21 lends itself to an optional 3.90 rear on a RAIII, or a standard rear for a RAIV car. Which engine did your car come with? Please post pics! Sounds like a great car.

Have you checked the rear yet? Special order 3:90 & 4:33 cars got the M-21 as a mandatory option.

Dazed & Confused GTO had black wing - may have the the look the prior owner was going after.

Nice find.

An Orbit car built in Oshawa will be rare. Couple here in Calgary, the number thrown around was under 20 in that colour.

All the Oshawa plant and Pontiac plant 70 OrbitO cars i have seen the trim tags for have been 06 , instead of 60.

The Alpha paint code was T

Black spoiler would be day 2 , or later .

Kool Kar and congrats to you !
