Plenty of pressure entering the block but we're not getting enough volume to the #2 bearing. Nitro takes a TON of oil because the combustion event lasts so much longer than in a gas engine.
#1 is ok because we're putting oil in at the IA2 "turbo oiling hole" (thanks Travis & Rodney for that idea). We're looking at restricting flow to cam bearings and adding an extra feed directly into #2. Eric

Try feeding the mains first... will require a little bit of plumbing, but... if you completely block feeds from driver side galley to driver side lifters... ALL oil goes to the mains first...
plumb new lifter feeds from passenger galley to valley side of driverside lifter bores.. Doing so feeds ALL the lifters LAST... adding a restriction to passenger galley entrance then restricts flow to all 16 lifters...allowing even more oil to go to mains 1st...however even with no restriction there, all lifters feeding from one galley are getting half as much oil as only 8 are normally being fed from one galley. |

We remembered your idea from a previous post and have discussed it as a possibility.

How about two pressure stages? One feeding exclusively the bottom end. As I've totally split off the top end oiling (and scavenging) of my hemi four cylinder, I'm considering separate pressure stages (might not be necessary for me, though).
Any idea how much air is entrapped in your oil by mid-track? Are you using an air/oil separator stage for the scavenged oil?

I agree. The next tangible goal in the Pontiac world is 250mph in the 1/4. On ET, it would be in the 5.80s but, 250 will be the next biggie.
