Transporter, I was indeed going to use my new 5 heads in the competition. Unfortunately if I could have made it I would have probably been DQ'd, but I was still going to enter with them. The thing I don't understand about the rules, Is if you read them closely they contradict themselves. I won't go into it here, but you can look for your self. The odd part is they will allow a Ford FE OHC engine, but not a Pontiac ram air 5 ??????


455 firebird, The heads could be used in either application successfully, and probably will be. I agree with you about a high winder. I cannot wait to here a set of these singing on something north of 8,000 rpm.

Scott, I designed my heads to use Harland Sharp 1.65 roller rockers and guide plates. So if you already have HS rockers you can use them without any problem. Harland Sharp is also designing me a shaft rocker system. Those will be available with up to a 2.0-1 ratio's. You can definitely use your existing pistons although you may need to fly cut them a little.
