For 1964

Just thought I'd include a photo of the arrangement for the optional second coat hook above the headliner. The first photo is of the right (passenger, optional) side, the second photo is of the left side with screw inserted.

Hmmm. Dealer must have installed a passenger side one in ours because it had two when we tore it down. Fremont built in July 1964. I now kind of regret installing the passenger side one during the restoration.

My dads 66 hardtop only has one on the drivers side.

66 HTs had 2 coat hooks..... right and left side. My 1st 66 GTO, the 66 Tempest Custom, and this 66 GTO all had/have 2. 63 GP had two also.

Goatman65, I say it's just missing on passenger side of your dad's 66 HT, and needs one for the right side. It the first 66 HT I've ever heard of that only had one, on the driver's side.

Dad bought his 66 new and it is unrestored. I will look at it again. Its kinda hard to see in the car where it is parked.
