There is a man named Brinkley Moore who used to own a convertible 'Bird. Obviously not a factory production model, it was built from a B-body Plymouth before he got it. When I first saw it in the mid 90's it had a Super Bee bulge hood which matched the Dodge Coronet fenders that actually came on the Plymouth Birds. It was quite strange looking if you know what a true wing car should look like.
I have pictures that I took of a one owner "barn" Bird in 2006 that I might scan. A routine medical check up that soon turned into a 100K deal on a Superbird. |

The last Superbird made, making it the last winged car produced, is out on E-Bay now.

I'll bet that the reserve is far off from the current bid. Being the very last one, and in a High Impact color with the pistol grip should add some hefty value over a base 440 bench seat 'Bird. In 2006 I stumbled upon an Alpine White 440 console/buckets one owner 'Bird. If I can dig up the 35mm pics to scan I'll tell that story.
