You would be going way faster too if the sponsors were giving you go fast stuff for free. Add placement on the show is big. Good for him he seemed like a cool guy.

Would not call it a Pro Mod quite yet. JSPONT

Travis told me about a week ago that the car is still basically the previous engine but now on alcohol and less weight without the intercooler tank, pump, and lines. He does have some betters turbos vs the ones he auctioned off though. He does have a very popular show if Chuck and others don't mess it up for him.

Tom V.

Pro Mods run well into the 5s, (in the quarter).

That is a pro mod car on the street, glass parts, funny car cage... Don't get me wrong I love the car, I'm a huge fan of the show, even Chuck, there are plenty of Chuck's out there street racing. All the different personalities makes the show great.
I have been watching Big Chiefs car since it was a nitrous real street car on you tube. It is now a race car that street races. I love it but lets call a spade a spade!

NOW BACK ON TRACK. MY BET IS ON LIL JACK. He is out testing and tuning, Fulton not yet and August 1st is around the corner!

It was the longest button I could find years back and I've used it ever since.....i change my micro switch every other year.

My good friend had a problem going red in his pro mod and I put that button in it now he's got a 1" throw button and he mashes the hell out of it just to stay .020

S/st, I'm pretty sure you don't have your .400 pro tree light narrowed down to .005 or better. And I'm pretty sure you were just busting the balls of heads up guys when you asked them to do it. But I will acknowledge that you are an excellent pro tree racer and you have my respect for it.
I get your point that many (most?) heads up racers are really not that good on the tree. I average an .04 light and I still leave first about 75% of the time. But there are real reasons this is the case. It is about scratching where it itches. There are only two ways you index racers can get an advantage. Run close to your index and cut a good light. So you have made quite a science of both. There is a very solid limit to how fast you can run and how good your light can be, which ends up making many of your
races a game of inches.
In heads up racing, an .02 or even .05 advantage on the light will rarely "save your bacon". So we concentrate on what will save it - making our cars faster.
I will say I thought my .02- .05 lights were respectable. Now, not so much. I will have to take a look at that. Thanks.
John, I don't know of any heads up racers that run a delay box, and by looking at their R/T's they certainly don't need one. I'm guessing I will soon hear different.

Yeah I was bustin balls a bit. And you do extremely well at what you do and where you run.
As for being .005 or better consistently depends on who I'm racing. If I 1320 them and catch there tendencies on the tree or find there RT's on DRC and find out what there avg reaction time is will determine how much delay I run. Sometimes I will go below my "don't go below #" in my delay. Not only do I race the track/weather I find out everything I can about my Opponnet to figure out how I will race them......that's why if I pro tree race I try to carry some #'s in the box so I can go below .005 if I need to.

The et's you heads up guys blow my mind! You guys do a heck of a good job finding every bit of hp you can....me I just work on reaction times more than anything. Most of the guys I run with don't touch there combos or very little to get them dialed.

I look toward to seeing your car run and always look forward to hearing of your progress et wise. I wish you and all the other Pontiac heads up racers the best of luck.

No problem..........I'll guarantee you I'll make it down the track under FULL POWER! Now you're assuming their BOTH going to show......BIG assumption (it's possible)!
Listen I'm just thinking with BOTH of them really not making any passes or none at all this year could be a BIG test & tune thing for them and there's nothing wrong with that......hell we all do that sometimes.
