BruceWilkie it is not a matter of winning, I was just trying to get the questions answered. I know Mr. Fulton has made at least three 7.8 passes I witnessed them (with his Eheads ).

I would also be confident by now Jack has a pocket full of seven second slips.

Dick's car looked considerably lighter than Jack's car. Do we know if Jack has lightened his up some?

It's funny how you all say Fulton ran a lot of 7 second timeslips, but fail to mention it was with E heads, two fours, sheet metal intake, two foggers and 3100#.

I ran 7.94 at 3460# E heads, Victor Dominator manifold, plate and a fogger.

Just the facts.

... i think Bruce is just trying to reference the point Fulton's chassis has been running well into the sevens, for quite awhile, not trying to compare his old motor to your old motor ...

... but poking fun at what you believe to be some kind of engine failure, just illustrates who you really are deep down, not cool Jack ...

I hope that the engine runs like a swiss watch so that you guys will finally have a horse in the race after 7 years. Lets see E-Heads were out there in 1996, almost 20 years of service to Pontiac Faithful.

When was it that people stopped talking crap about E-heads? If we get a date on that then we can know if it was less than or greater than 7 years?

Wait, people are still talking crap about E-heads.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Please list the fast Wenzler Series II or Super Chief cars?

BTW, my dad has a set of Super Chiefs. He hasn't had any issues with them.

I believe Neal Owens and John Langer campaigned the Series II HPs back in the day and they did pretty well and not just against other Pontiacs in NMCA. As for now, obviously there are other and better choices.

John Langer and Neal Owens did very well with the Wenzler II heads and so did Dave Johnson.

Then the Eheads came along!

To George's point...without Wenzler there may never have been an e-head or it certainly would have been delayed years.

The so called e-head making all the power is a completely different head that Edelbrock casted.........wide ports, high ports, pushrods moved, offset rockers. the original head would not set ANY records! like I said before that you Larry Wenzler............ he was the FIRST!

Tom, not that it's a big deal but Dave had two pairs of Wenzlers, a series one and two. The series II's were the only ones to break into the eights. The series ones however have a better exhaust port but the series two were of better quality.
