How about a Pontiac... This is from a commission I did a couple years back called "The Old Grey Ghost" the gal is from my home town and, like myself, was in High School in the 80's. She requested a caricature of herself along with her sister cruising' around, like the good old days, in her dad's "grey" '65 Lemans. I did a GTO variant in Iris as well but haven't got access to it. Instead, I'm posting the Lemans version.

Hi Mark,

I have been following the thread and your drawings are fantastic. You are extremely talented.

At some point do you think you could go over the process of how the cars are drawn? Do you use traditional tools like pen, markers, airbrush, etc? Or do you more modern tools like the use of a computer and software to make these creations? The colors are absolutely amazing.

I'm still waiting to catch a glimpse of a '64 in one of your pieces. (hint

Thanks for posting these here. I got a good opportunity to show and sell work at the Concourse d’Elegance of America St. Johns in Plymouth Michigan this week end. I will be trying to frame your piece to show it as an example of commission work. Very exciting indeed. Your support plays huge in my ‘drive’ to keep at it. You are extremely kind to say so, thank you for the feedback. I would be happy to run you through the process(es) and will see if I can dig up a ’64 I may have done. I know I began to create a Christmas card using a ;64 GTO’mino as the theme car but it didn’t get very far. Maybe I can roll that into your request for how I do things... In the mean time, If Mike is cool with it, I can use his rendering as a play by play. It may be today, it may be after the week end but I will do this, perhaps, as it’s own thread. Maybe the moderators can give it a bit of a boost some how...

Funny, going through my Photobucket files and 1964 seems to be the most under represented year on there... Considering the significance of the GTO that year, you’d think it would be a highlight... Maybe I’ve been waiting on the right person to hire a commission...
Speaking of which, I have been in contact with gentleman who has collected and restored several GTOs and a couple ‘birds (T/As) and will be working on several private commissions for him in upcoming weeks/months.

I guess with the new work you have coming up will leave you with little time to make good on the many e-mails and text messages from earlier this year. I also noticed you are on web site The Hub.
As far as using any thing I commissioned you for and using it as a selling tool, I would guess that would be open for further e-mails.

Thanks Mike, the show went well and as far as displaying the GTO piece, it was a one time thing. I will tell you about it some time. Thanks again for the support.

Mark, meant to suggest this a while ago when you 1st began this thread, if I haven't already:

Suggest you post similar image(s) of your creations in the corresponding "TECH SECTION" such as in the 1961 Full Size, 63 Tempest, etc. for example...

There are many who never frequent this area of PY aka: "the lobby" and may have missed your talents and original reproduction offerings, especially the many unique models and years of Pontiac's other than the mainstream GTO, Trans Am, etc. Hope this helps.
