Default A body driveshafts

Hi guys, will a 69 GTO ( 4 spd)drive shaft work in my 67' GTO clone ??( 455 with 400 auto short tail shaft) Thanks ahead of time for all your reply's and help Lee

No.

The 69 has a 3" shorter wheelbase than a 67.

But the Turbo 400 IS longer than the 4 speed. Try it and see. The yoke is different but the length might work.

Below are the stock driveshaft lengths used with stock Pontiac 8.2 10 bolts and stock 12 bolts. All are measured center to center on the ujoints. All T-400 application use the exact same '67-74 application med length T-400 yoke, not the shorty Seville yoke...

-'65-67 GTO M20, M21 60.00"

-'67 GTO Turbo 400 59.375"

-'68-70 GTO M20, M21: 56.00"

-'68-72 GTO Turbo 400: 55.375"
(same length with big output shaft Muncie or with 74 1/2+ 2nd design BW T-10)

Have several soap barrels at warehouse full of clean used late '60s early A body driveshafts.
With FedEx and OOPs outrageous oversize shipping, usually sell local, or drop off when on road trips.

Also, 1968-72 4-door and stw with TH400 driveshafts should work.
