this site has more old pics of 60' and 70's musclecars than any site I have ever seen.
NOTE DO NOT CLICK ON TO INDIVIDUAL PICS BECAUSE WHEN YOU CLICK BACK IT MAKES YOU START ALL OVER AGAIN. (if someone figures out how to do it without starting over please post it) I looked at these pictures for almost an hour and didn't finish. I think there must be at least one picture of every wing car ever produced. tons and tons of mopars. several old gtos and trans ams. enjoy until your eyes get tired. http://70sstreetmachines.tumblr.com/ |

Right click on the picture, and open it in a new tab or window. The original tab you're on won't reset to the top.

I've pulled a few pics from that site before, some pretty cool stuff. It's about 80% Mopars, and it's obvious that Mopar owners were the most likely to do "Day 2" stuff to their cars.

Great pics. Could do without the resource hogging Adobe flash music player though.

Perhaps you're forgetting => crack open a copy of Thunder Am, Car Crap, Popular Hot Rodding, Hot Rod and there's plenty of those "must have" mods from back then on all makes and models, GM & Pontiac. Every make and model vehicle imaginable was "enhanced" where I lived...mods as seen in the mags mentioned above. ![]() That 70sSuper Car website brings it back for me the way it really was...Thxs for the link

Or, you can also do as suggested and open a new tab or window for the pic you want to look at then just close that tab/window. Cool site! I was just a little kid in the '70s but my brother who was 9 years older than me had a few Chevelles that would fit right in on that site in the late '70s to early '80s.

hard to stop looking,
I'm gonna scroll one more time and thats it. I'm gonna scroll one more time and thats it. I'm gonna scroll one more time and thats it. Thanks for sharing, cool sight, reminds me of the good old days being a teenager living across the street from the high school. I always loved painting craziness on cars like each one was an empty canvas. Wouldn't we all love to go back and do it again. ( a little differently). I'm gonna scroll one more time and thats it. |

When's the last time you saw a hopped-up Pinto Runabout? I can verify first hand that these cars were unmitigated pieces of crap - we owned a Pinto station wagon for 10 years. But I bet whoever owned that yellow Pinto on the first page thinks back on it fondly. If it pulled into a cruise meet these days it would attract a lot of attention.

No sir not mine...it's an actual vintage "back in the day" IIRC from CARS or a HPPontiac magazine?
Don't remember exactly ...Mike, and or others here may chime in with recollection of details of this pic.
