1971455HO,

Just to add to the confusion, 1966 was the first year for the metallic silver-blue engine paint used through model year 1970. 1965 and earlier got the robin's-egg blue paint as well as the '71 - mid '73 motors (or teally blue). I think you are correct about the '71 -mid '73 having a teal tint to the color and not as light as the '65 and earlier motor paint.
