He also mentions "correct" engine. He never said numbers matching.

A picture is worth 1000 words. It seems like there are a couple pictures intentionally left out. The seller would be wise to be open and honest to avoid future problems.
Just sayin'........ |

Have an older set of Harland Sharp full roller rockers....
I believe they are 1:65's..... Will these work in my 455 HO without having to clearance the pushrod holes in the heads?

Pretty sure they are...but it's been twenty years since I bought them... Bill had them on the SD for a while....and I thought they fit OK on that, but obviously a different casting... Did you put your studded snows on the OTG yet?

Go to Harland Sharps website and they have pictures of the pushrod cups of both the 1.5's and 1.65's so you can see which ones you have.
Weren't SD's 1.65 from the factory? Got the studs on front and rear and some tire chains in the trunk next to the walker. It's been nicer here than your locale lately but that will change quickly. |

interesting '72 Formula for sale that I came across on youtube. He states that it's not an original Formula 455 but it appears to currently have a '72 WM 455HO in it with an M-22 plus an extra '71 YE 455HO with intake, heads, manifolds and q-jet that came with it in the garage. I almost didn't watch the first video but now am wondering whose cars these engines might be from and how much he is asking for it all....

I will wager its 30K quid anyways. I bet he has more than that into it. Likely take 40K US dollars to get it State side including the container ride. They you order up new full quarters, and begin the fun...maybe a real "boot pan" too. For being in the UK, its done pretty nicely.

On the 455 HO firebird the ad says it's not the original motor for the car.
