Default Big Chief's new car

That car is absolutely beautiful so there's only a couple things important in this battle as I see it....
First and foremost, seeing a Pontiac on TOP and he's done that well! I for one was sick when I heard the news.
And Secondly, don't bring a knife to a gunfight! If these guys keep bring'n Pro Mods out to run him, it's time he brought a bigger gun too!
Back when I was street racing, there weren't any rules other than being out front when you go from A to B, so we brought whatever we could and hoped we brought enough....
Pontiacs Rule so Go Get 'em Big Chief!

Bring the best you got. I attended a few street races way back when on the infomos H Road just outside DC. I'm talking late 60's-early 70's! I saw a front engined rail show up with headlights strapped on.
The good old days. At least I survived them.

So true Troy. You bring whatever car you can get a race with and then negotiate from there.

If you LIVED while surviving the good old days then usually an oldtimer will have some killer stories to tell.

Beautiful car and I wish the Chief the best, but I wish he would have stayed with a more factory original looking car. He has a plan for his racing program and he has to do what is best for himself. Good luck dude and I can not wait for the new season.

Just watch the show and you will see. Discovery Channel of course. Ever notice every one of them are always wearing nice clean clearly brand new sponsor tee shirts, sweatshirts and caps. You can tell they just put them on. That don't happen by accident. Show was good first season when it was just closed street racing but like most shows, they quickly forget their roots. Now its just less prepped pavement drag racing. No real street cars anymore. Need to change the name as this one implies street cars racing on the street.

Back to saying one of these days I'm going to build me a car just like the P/Y Race forum guys!!!

ProMod on the street seems to be hated almost as much as the CV1's

LMAO, Todd.

Shades of the NASCAR cars, are no longer stock cars.

If you want to go faster safer, you gotta pull up your anchor that's hooked in the past.
