My wife has tried several. Started with the G27, then went Sig938, now with the G43. She is pretty small and seemed to like the Sig938 in a Remora the best. I carry a G29 in the winter time and the G27 in the summer. I need to find a holster for the 938 and try it this coming summer, I don't care much for the Remora.

Ditto. There is a fix that is being marketed by a second party, but I haven't done it yet. The newer LC9s have a much better trigger pull.

Having spent considerable time at the range, I am used to the trigger pull, but every time I fire, I wish I had the fix, My ONLY complaint against Ruger ... I asked them if they were going to offer the fix for the first gen LC9, and they said no, but I could trade it in, and buy the "s" or "s Pro" plus a $100 gift card for Ruger products. So they knew that the first version needed an upgrade, hence the LC9s, and LC9s Pro.

Well, being a gentleman cost me my gun today. I went to get it and a young lady and her boyfriend walked up to the counter and we started talking about guns. I told her what I had come there to get and she decided to look at one as well.
So I let the sales clerk wait on her first which was almost a good thing for me. She pulled the gun up on her smart phone for $50.00 less than what this shop had it for and the salesman agreed to let her have it for that price.
I asked him if I could get the same price and he said yes. So he went to the back to get the guns and came back with only one box. He said they were out and the demo was the only one left. Of course the young lady took it so I asked him if he would honor that price when more came in. He said if it was still the same price at the place the girl pulled up when his came in he would.
I looked at this gun Tuesday and they had 22 of them in stock.

No she didn't offer to let me have it but I told her to take it so I really don't have anyone to blame but myself. I went online and checked their inventory and they show 0 in stock.

I recently purchased the new Walther CCP. I wanted to stay with 9mm for cost of ammo and easy availability. This is my second gun. I also have a Walther PPQ. The reason I like Walthers is they are ergonomic and feel good in your hand. I have smaller hands. Other guns are like holding a brick.

Anyways, this is a great shooting gun. Easy slide and a reduced recoil because of their Softcoil gas technology.

I also like the Shield and Bodyguard.

I was finally able to get my Shield today. It took some digging on my part but I was able to get it for $66.00 less than the advertised price. It's a long story so I won't bore you with the details.
Now, I can't wait for Christmas so I can open it! It is my present from my wife.

As mentioned I dont like anything that doesnt have a hammer, but that doesnt limit me to 1911s. I am a big Sig fan. Their 229 line with DA/SA action is a fine performer. And because the first trigger pull is DA you dont have to walk around hammer back. I carried a 229 for a while, but prefer the slimmer lines of the 1911. HK has several comparable models. I'm a 1911 man myself. I have a Springfield Loaded Model and love it. I even had the trigger polished so it breaks at about 3.5lbs. Personally the hammer back doesn't bother me. You still have to disengage the thumb safety and engage the grip safety then squeeze the trigger to get it to fire. The drop tests done from 50ft onto a concrete slab never caused them to fire so I figure I'm good.

Right, I feel I am more likely to make a safe accurate shot flipping a thumb safety and pulling a 3.5 lb trigger than I am pulling a long squishy Glock action or similar under duress.

The manual safety is the lesser of two evils for me. But really it all comes down to what you are comfortable with. There is a ton written on what caliber minimum you should carry. Lots of guys say it should start with a "4". But you know what, if the gun you are comfortable both concealing and firing accurately is a .22 wmr then carry that. And this from me who carries a .45. I assure you most people (myself included) will call timeout as soon as you point a gun at them. Let alone actually shoot them. And I personally believe if you come upon one of those madmen who arent put down easily the .45 probably wont make as big a difference as some people think. Especially if you arent comfortable firing it accurately.

The human body is pretty easy to kill, but when determined its hard to stop quickly.

I personally carry the Ruger LCR .357 loaded with .38 +P's w/Teflon...but also have speed loaders handy with .357 Silvertips for if/when it gets outta control or I wanna take out someone's engine block! Seriously...carrying day in and day out for years I also have a Beretta Bobcat (.22 LR) which I carry in the summer as it doesn't print. I've walked into many establishments and unless they wand you or you go thru a metal detector they would never know. Actually forget it is on me sometimes. Folks laugh when I say .22 but I treated a guy when I was a surgery tech who was gut-shot with a .22 and it is NOT like you see on TV...all he could do was moan and groan...and ooze bile out of his extra belly button. Also....22 is lethal to 400 yards...much more FPS than a .380. Talking lethal punch...not that you could hit anything that far away....but it has been tested by the folks at Savage and the .22 still had over 1,000 FPS @ 400 yards. Even the LCR gets too bulky at times. Just sayin'...I know you already found your gun, but I thought I had too until I started packing it all day every day.My S&W Model 13 .357 is my nightstand piece, Yes...I'm partial to wheel guns! Good luck and hope you never HAVE to use it! Safe shooting!

Glad to finally see mention of .22 caliber here. I have a Jennings J-22 semiautomatic .22LR that's almost the ultimate for "concealability"- the only thing smaller would be a Derringer. The police chief in the next village to me also carries a J-22 off-duty. It's very inexpensive and is known as the "Jam-a-matic", but after I detail-radiused the edges of the bullet path in the clips with needle files, mine hasn't jammed since.

there is a reason it is the choice of professional assassins. My "bottom-feeder" is a break-barrel design so theoretically...one would never have to operate the slide manually to load the chamber. Keep seven in the magazine and just drop one in the barrel and good to go. Only mention this because some ladies object to having to "jack" a shell in to go hot. This design simplifies that along with affording one the option of checking the chamber discreetly with the flick of a lever. Love my Beretta! BTW...have NEVER been able to jam it up...even with consecutive rapid fire events.
