Yep, I remember that one because it's such a good photo. I wonder how many cops allow little kids to mill around a car accident nowadays? It was a different time! Those kids are probably about my age.

Anybody else on this planet campaign a M/T hemi Pontiac for eleven seasons? ... or has built a record breaking DOHC hemi four cylinder Pontiac? ... or has driven a couple laps of Nuerburgring with Tri-Power Pontiac power?(back in 1967) ... or has a Pontiac born the same year as Jim Wangers? (1926}

One of Thompson's wild ideas. Pontiac heads reworked to have both intake and exhaust ports outboard. A few years ago at Norwalk a pair of those heads was seen in the swap meet. I think Tom S laid eyes on them. In the photo, I've never figured out what the two round objects are, bolted on brackets to each Hilborn 2-port injector?
