Was steady @ $1.689 for the week prior...Prices have been progressively dropping down to $1.679 yesterday in north Harris County TX.

Slowly been going down last 2 weeks. Was 2.16 for RU this morning. Probly be 2.69 by tonight.

Gas dropped to 1.979 for the lowest in my area a couple of days ago.
Over across the DMB, there's a few places in NJ where gas is 1.799.

Gotten down to 1.88 here, but they are not lowering 93 octane prices. Paid 2.27 last time.
I am grateful. Since we got to the $2 range 6+ months ago, I have been burning over $100 a week.

Even our high priced stations like Shell are down to 2.04.
Coming back from a swap meet in NJ yesterday I filled up for 1.859. No 1.79 gas near the Delaware Memorial Bridge.  $45.00 to fill my Jeep, from near empty, and 6 gallons in a can for the GTO.

 frittering and wasting the hours in an off hand way.... 1969 GTO, 455ci, 230/236 Pontiac Dude's "Butcher Special" Comp hyd roller cam with Crower HIPPO solid roller lifters, Q-jet, Edelbrock P4B-QJ, Doug's headers, ported 6X-8 (97cc) heads, TKO600, 3.73 geared Eaton Tru-Trac 8.5", hydroboost, rear disc brakes......and my greatest mechanical feat....a new heater core.

1.79 regular 2.09 for 93 octane. Been a blessing for me. Burning about 50 gallons a week in my truck last 7 months.

Shopping yesterday gas fill-up @ Galleria area Costco (not the cheapest location
 ) reg was $1.57 per gal...while stopped @ traffic light later in same general area wi a mile...noted a Shell station reg for $2.29 w people lined up pumping...Crazy!
