It is nice to see a pontiac powered car out there doing well amongst the other brands. Im loosing interest in the show quickly as the money keeps pouring into it. Most of what I enjoyed about it was seeing short/almost standard wheel based cars that were overpowered playing a tuners game to get down a marginal surface. If I want to watch pro mods race I will go to the track. Its just my opinion which im sure will not be popular.

I guess if Justin was bracket racing, then a heavy stock body would have been ok.

No one else has put on as many miles,or passes,at that HP level, with a traditional Pontiac, then Justin. If the crow mod was powered by anything other than a real Pontiac, there wouldn't be a discussion..

I'll be the last one watching the show. I do not care what they race, I'll watch. Go Karts, Mini bikes, big wheels, Jet cars, tricycles.... what better show is there to watch? Real housewives?? LMAO
He wants to be the fastest street racer, now he has a dual purpose car.
He just can't race NHRA but who cares about that!

It is still a free country- at least today it is. If people want to run pro mods on the street they can. I guess for the rest of the group to catch up they will also have to have 200,000 in their cars as well.

How is that different than any other racing? I liked the cars better being back-halved recognizable cars, but they car made the statement that they are the fastest street raced cars in the country, and to their credit, they are have raced guys from all over the country. To continue to make that claim, they are having to step up their game. Same as all racing - well except bracket racers.😂

I'm wondering about NHRA's true control of the outlaw's. The outlaw race they held August 15th and 16th was at an NHRA track (Noble, Oklahoma). I thought that you had to play by their rules if they sanctioned your track...?

I did not attend. It was the largest spectator count the track has ever seen since opening in 1992. It was wall to wall people, I knew it would be, having been at another "outlaw" event. My 2 buddies that went were miserable, the track is not truly capable of catering to such a crowd...

I'll play. Guessing they are a lot quicker than most think. 6.90-7.70 in the 1/4 is my guess. 4.30-4.80 1/8.

That was on a 275 radial too. Justin once told me he thought the Crow would runs in the 6's on a good track and big tire. I don't doubt it.

Not QUICK enough!
Probably between 7.20's-7.70's, going by their 1/8 mile times. Dave had the quickest OK car (truck), then the 2 turbo cars and the Monty Carlo........after that it dropped of quickly!!

Allot of the stuff they raced out of town was junk. You got to admit it. It was fun to watch. There are allot of mid 4sec cars to be found everywhere. I just think its getting a bit over the top. Hey if they are getting paid enough to get better cars more power to them. Its heading to not street in my eyes.

you can watch the new show, red devil racers(or whatever it's called), if you want to get back to "real" street racing. it's following the same script as all the other failed reality tv car shows.
