Default Woman came into shop with a complaint ...

Every once in awhile there was low short buzzing sound in the car.
The tech went on a test drive on a ruff road and heard it. Sure enough only lasted a few seconds.
Turned out to be the switch getting bumped on her vibrator in the console...

I hope it was a "hands free" model to comply with state laws

So, who got to tell her what was going on? How did that conversation go?

Of course everyone in the shop and parts dept knew about soon as he got back.
The service advisor didn't want to say anything in from of the other customers in the lounge, so he walked her out to her car in the service lane and said the noise was from one of her personal items in the console.
Her face went full red.
BTY, wasn't to bad looking either.

She must have been really upset. Did the dealership at least offer her a complimentary lube service to "console" her? I would suggest she conceal carry in the future

WAY too funny, LOL! Thanks for sharing, Mike.

Weirdest things we've encountered at our shop are quite a few dirty diapers - great to discover when doing interior repairs, and of course several cats torn up by cooling fans . . .

That's hot.

Sounds like the oil needs checking more often.

Another had forgot about.

Years ago a tech had to replace a seat adjuster.
When he went to start wrenching, found a pair of dried blood stained panties tucked underneath the motor.

Be surprised what people leave in their car/truck.

On Yahoo news they ran a story about a woman who took her car to a mechanic because the seat track was stuck. The mechanic found the problem but the picture is NSFW because it was a long rubbery object with a pair or round things on the end.

Sounds like he made the best of a sticky situation.

Wildest one I've seen was in the early 80's. The customer and his lady made LOTS of use of a Polaroid. They stored the art work in a large (and open) cardboard box in the trunk.

I worked at a local burger joint (Steak -n- Shake) in high school. Occasionally, we'd have girls come through the drive though topless or naked at night. We'd delete their order from the system, give them their food for free, and welcome them back anytime. Those were the days!!
