I thought this was an awesome photo showing 1958 Edsels lined up on a Ford Test Track. Hopefully, people liked green Edsels.

The '58s weren't bad looking cars, just a little different. By '60 they were obviously just Fords made to look different and in so doing they were butt ugly.

Lots of cool pics ....we grew up in some good times.
Anyone remember the model of the Mr. Gasket Gasser? Wish I had all the stuff from my childhood .... graduated HS ... went into the military, never looked back. Still haven't spent a night at the parent's house since 1976. Nothing but memories and the GTO ... .guess that's why I still have it. |

Used to love the fact that you could buy plastic models of just about any of the top racers back then. |

This has to be one of the most unusual structures I've ever seen. Also appears to be a locomotive behind the tower.

Thought I would bring a few of these old bicycles back up. The Deluxe Slingshot Rail in the LIFE Magazine looks pretty wild! I never saw one of those before. Has dual shifters, a red and a black.
