It's a neat project, but by looking at that pic how high is that carb and housing going to be ABOVE the cam drive???

I've seen that one article before, but have yet to see anyone's in a vehicle other than Bzltyr's on the yuku forum. Last update he was still building his EFI tune, but he drove it around the block a few times. He's got two Volvo(?) turbo's on it.

What is more efficient? a single large turbo or a pair of smaller ones?

I know I plan to run EFI of some form. I want to build a long distance engine for my 67

Usually two turbos, one large one fed by a smaller one.

Depends on your goals.

On a smaller engine (such as these?) two would help get boost to come on early without necessarily capping top end performance. Where as a single turbo for high horsepower could have significant lag before boost comes on. I plan on using a single turbo when I get to that part of the build, which also helps costs in the way of needing to only buy one of the various components. One turbo, one waste gate, one filter housing, one down pipe, etc.

I forgot about that car and engine!

I find the comment about only running it to 6,000rpm because the harmonic balancer interesting because blower belts are known to absorb essentially all the crank harmonics. I'm impressed he fit a 2.02" valve in the intake too.

Not sure what the measurement is, will have to go back and get them for you. But really who needs a hood anyway

i forgot i never answered the question. the carb vent tube is 4.5 inches higher than the top of the cam housing.
