I can't decide which is worse: hitting the ground, or hitting that spinning wheel first.

From back when there were "old" racers....and there were "bold" racers....but there were no "old, bold" racers.

Look closely at the before and after for "realignment" of "bits & pieces"

My old 71 LeMans in the background of a photo my dad took of some drain pipe he was having installed at our new house. The hand pump in the foreground was on a 1,000 gallon underground tank that we used to fill cars, the tractor, mowers, my buddies' cars, motorcycles, etc.! My dad was a fuel oil jobber at the time and we got gas cheap - even for then!

1973 Grand Prixs on the hauler. Appears to be a couple 1973 GTO's in back, on the bottom two rows?

Honorable mention: two brand new "new body style" Chevy pickup trucks.

A pal of mine who is a long-time NASCAR fan told me that he remembers reading several articles about that Black and Gold Chevy that Yunick built. Apparently, NASCAR deemed it illegal in several respects and even confiscated the fuel cell, and he still cranked the car and drove it off the premises. Rumor had it that there was a 50' fuel line mounted under the seat. Anyone ever heard this story before?

That's because the remaining fuel was in the frame of the car.
