So to PICK one run by Mike Leech and say that run was HIS performance benchmark on the track is a bit weak in the actual data game, even for the "electron simulation" guys.
You're saying Leech is a "electron simulation" guy?

Not this one. I want to, but life is in the way. I'm shooting for commerce ga. Everything is waiting on something else right now and work is swamped. I will follow closely though. Wishing you guys the best!

I have a surgery scheduled on april 13 for shoulder repair. I should be good by bowling green race.

LOL!!!!
Wasn't 2014. I was working in Tennessee then. The 8.08 was off the trailer. First round of qualifying in the heat of the day at like 3pm. I believe that was either in July or August. I don't forget about Martin. You post a video with no et. There aren't any results of qualifying of that pass anywhere. You are on a tire that is not legal anywhere. How many examples of passes at different tracks under a common set of rules do I need to produce for a comparison.

Only the very best that protect your fragile ego.

So 8.08 right off the trailer eh. LOL. ok

And the 8.03 was the very first hit on that combo. The very first. But as you love to point out we hurt it. And i know you know that because you were texting pics fo a bent rod around. It made it back to me in 24 hrs. LOL

But we can all see you don't care! A LOT!!!

Yes 8.08 off the trailer first round of qualifying. At a race, with known rules for tires cubic inch and weight.

I agree with your point, John, that under a given weight, tire, and cubic inch rule that you had a certain et with your car.

Doesn't seem to matter much with the typical Pontiac guy who looks at the dairy farmer's ET and MPH numbers (no weight posted, no cid posted, no real rules, and wants to brag about what they did). Just a "Pontiac" engine that ran "x" ET and MPH and calls it a Pontiac record.

So even your number (under controlled parameters) will not line up with Mike's runs except if you were at the same track on the same day in the opposite lane (people will say the lanes were not the same) and both of you put down a number. That number being some ET and MPH at same weight, tire size, etc.............................................

So you guys are just "measuring" like I posted before. Talking the trash before the race season.

So now we reduced it to the only reason I was faster is because of the tire? OK I will except that.

I was trying to be nice.

Figured most would understand that Mike was using his best pass.
I didn't pick it.
So with Tom trying to blow his horn again, then Leech jumping on his skirt, just couldn't stay focused.

Back to the original topic?

2.3 HP per CID????

Seems none of these guys know how, so who else can post some good ideas?

I know you love your comparisons. If you were less of a dumbazz it would be easier to understand why a car with multiple issues was slower than one that was on point. But.... You are that guy.....watch the video and think to yourself... Did mikes car hook? No Comparison over. I did not have a good showing at MIR. Multiple issues. But keep using that. If you and langer want to compare against that outing, i want to compare to ANY pass langer ever made in the state of Michigan. LOL.
Mike,
My funny what happens when the shoe is on the other foot. Those thing did not matter to you when they happened to others.

I sure hope you fell somewhat better since Tom is here kissing your *$$.

Other foot? Watchoo talkin bout willis?

I'm not the one trying to compare my best to langers less than best. You and he and your gay lover ta1 are doing that.

His best to mine. 7.96 or 5 or 0 whatever you want.....to 8.03.

His best in the summer in michigan. 8.08 to my 8.03.

Stack it up how you want. I can find lots of slower passes of his yet i don't think its right to pick those for comparisons sake.

You HAVE to pick crappy data to make your retarded point.

Pointing out facts Stan, vs BS computer data. Something that you have never been any good at.

You can make a flawed computer program say anything you want and some will believe that bs. A good computer program matches the actual data from the track (without correction factors inputted by the computer whiz) to make his program look accurate.

I know what works based on thousands of dyno runs (run on monthly calibrated dynos at work in atmospheric controlled test cells).

Mike L knows what works on his engine based on actual track testing and trying a bunch of different variations.

You get butthurt when reality challenges computer simulation magic that is flawed.

At some point people will not listen to your bs and use your "simulations" anymore because they realize that they are BS and not worth messing with.

You can blow smoke up the butts of newbies and non hardware people but everyone else can easily see the smoke and mirrors.

Truth makes the Butthurt boys very unhappy. Be it the computer jocks or the What crowd.

Mike,
Is this another one of those days where you fell like Charlie Brown?

Maybe my short term memory is going. But I had you in a different time zone from John Synder. Where did I post up John Langers times?

Tom,
Try some reading comprehension. No computer simulations needed. Just looking at numbers from their time slips. Must be to much exhaust gas from all of those dyno test.

Does it matter who it is you compare to? Compare two cars, one on its best ever sorted out and awesome run. And compare it to a car almost .3 seconds off its own better 330 times. But ignore that data and keep charging forward with your stupidity.

I was not in my own time zone in 60' or 330'. Why would the final et be even close to its own potential. Let alone suitable for comparisons.

But you are not "selling" reading track time slips, Stan. Anyone with a 3rd grade education can read a time slip based on a run by another person. They can also quickly grasp that a lower number on the ET is good and a higher number on the MPH is good.

You are "selling" that your track simulations are close to horsepower numbers that the engine would need to generate the actual track time slips.

So a real world Engineer would run the vehicle tests on the track (in both directions) to compensate for the wind effects and the track rolling resistance differences along with a change in the track being perfectly level the whole distance. Our track was level within 1/4" over a 3.5 MILE track distance end for end. And we still ran 7 runs in each direction.

So your simulations leave out a lot of information.

The sharp EFI guys measure the actual oxygen in the air at the track they are at and calibrate the efi based on that actual info vs ASSume like you do.

You ASSume a lot of things Stan. That is why your stuff will never be right.

You don't get enough runs with no changes to accurately make a "average run" for an accurate simulation. No track racer is going to make 14 runs at the same conditions, rpm shift points, temperature points, track co-efficient conditions, etc.

So you can never get an accurate number with your stuff. And that is 'Old physics'
You can get an approximate number based on how much you want to fudge the data for your benefit.

So your Simulations are blowing smoke and your brain/mouth is blowing smoke.

It always happens that way when you (Stan) run up against someone who actually knows how the Aero Engineering, Parasitic Loss, and Rolling Resistance stuff works.

Tom V.

Not worth my time typing to explain further to you why your BS does not cut it in the real world.
