LOL I agree !!!! When it comes to making allot of HP I'm not going to let a hood stop me.

Jim, I might be persuaded to tool up for a cast tunnel ram intake if the demand is there. Right now though I don't see enough to warrant the cost from start to finish. I wouldn't be adverse to someone else making a tunnel ram if they want to step up. I wouldn't even be adverse to taking an investor. I would make the tooling, market them and give them a return on their investment. I thought at one time Lynn's tunnel ram might bolt on, but it won't at least not without some welding, porting, and drilling. Look below at the pic's with one of my intake gaskets on Lynn's head. My bolt holes are actually over top of Lynn's valve cover rail and don't line up. I still haven't disqualified my cast intake yet either. The runners look short, but for most cubic inch high rpm applications I think it can made to work. As you know now from seeing my heads first hand. The intake port is longer than one thinks at first glance. So the intake manifold runners don't need to be as long as say an Edelbrock head. My cast intake has allot of room for allot of different cubic inches and rpm ranges. That's why I designed it the way that I did, versatility. With the insert I make for the intake you can manipulate port runner length to some degree. Plenum volume is easily modified with a spacer. Take a look at my cast intake and see what you think. I believe you have one down there. The total port length from the valve to the plenum with my cast intake is almost 10". I believe that the Victor on a Edelbrock or stock head is only about 11" total. That's actually not a bad thing because of the higher rpm potential my heads have over the Edelbrocks. The one disadvantage to my intake is the runners do have a slight curve to them to get it to fit under the hood.

If it makes any difference I would like to see a cast tunnel ram available for your heads. What is the availability of the stuffer you pictured? Cost?
From my work on the heads here, your heads appear very versatile...looking forward to seeing someone's dyno and track performance numbers soon to confirm mine and other interested parties' suspicions of their capabilities.

That's awesome, but you will need to buy 150 of them for me to break even LOL. I have the intake stuffer's available immediately for $475.00. They cost that much because currently the only way for me to produce them is by cnc'ing them from a billet block. I'm working on getting tooling made to make castings which will bring the price way down, but that's going to be awhile yet. This race season I hope we are going to see some track times and maybe some dyno numbers.

Can you fill us in on your project with the DCI RA5 heads your working on? Or is it top secret spy information LOL? I would love to here your thoughts as I'm sure others here would as well.

We will be posting about our efforts soon. Thanks for the interest in our project.

I have said it before but will say it again...Thank you for offering your V heads and intake. The interest in them has to be very encouraging.

Thank you Jim for your support !!!!!!
Yes the acceptance and support has been very encouraging !!!!! It's been a long road to hoe, but worth every minute I've put into it. Life is way to short to say what if or I can't.

Lil Jack, Yes I know, you can bust my balls. I can take it !!!! I wish I had more help, more money, more time, more employee's, more ,more ,more LOL. Unfortunately I'm not rich and overwhelmed with nothing to do. Actually just the opposite.

Agree, but only a fool, or a child, puts all of his cards on the table face up.

Foot for thought. I would much rather have it that way vs all of this bs that went on over the last few years on a different head design.

At what point are we going to stop racing dynos?

At what point is it your business or anyone's business what ET and MPH Jack or anyone else has run?

Why is it that people ASSUME that they should have access to anyone's test data?

A F-1 team does not give you data, why should jack?

Just wondering.

Don't know what F-1 is George?

I put the dash in there specifically for a reason. Formula -1 (as in Big Boy Racing, not "Nova" Racing.

By the way in all the years and years you have been on the PY Board I have never seen you post a
single time slip on your stuff so why should Jack or I for example post one?

You are the biggest Cricket of them all. LOL!
