Wow. That was unexpected...

I suspect the fact that he worked at Boomershine had something to do with that (not only from a familiarity standpoint but also part "availability").

Heres two pushrods I pulled out of a 400 I tore down recently. The twisted up one was on the intake side. The snapped in half one was found in the oil pan, and the other half was in the valley.

The golf ball dimpled intake port looks cool! Never seen anything like that, I suspect it's some kind of race bred trick to get that extra edge since the dimples on a golf ball help it travel farther as it spins

Here's a pic of my "tall port" KRE D's when my engine combo was going together about 5-6 years ago. They were cnc ported @KRE by Jeff Kauffman
