I always felt that 71-72 GTO's have a sad puppy dog face, something about the grille being lower than the headlamps, like 69-70 Shelby's

oops, i meant a 67-68 Shelby with the similar scoops and the grill lower and forward of the headlights. I always assumed the 71 GTO front clip was cribbed from those Shelby`s

I still don't get what you mean. The scoops are similar though

Original owner car, taken at 2009 Co-Vention in Dayton, OH. Haven't seen FVGRAMPS on the boards in a long time. Super nice guy. Talked with him quite a while in '09 ...

LOVE seeing these pics!

68PONGTO, What happened to your brother's car? Hopefully a storytale ending?

Boss, That pic was awesome but I can't believe there were 4 car guys in a pic without a beer somewhere, especially Canadians with all that great beer up there!

He still has it. He bought when he was 18 and did what we would now call a novice restoration. He plans on doing a full-blown frame off concours restoration in the near future. It is a real low option car, The Judge and 4-speed are the only 2 options listed on the PHS. I doubt he will ever get rid of it!
