Asbestos due to the barbs on it, stays lodged in the air sacs in the lungs causing a constant irritation that can turn into cancer. Many other dusts can be expelled with the normal mucous secretions that our bodies use, asbestos is very resistant to being removed from our systems naturally.

Wet down and wash off with CRC Brake cleaner.
The Red can brake cleaner.

The good news is that it takes 20-30 years for the symptoms to manifest themselves. Unless you get Meso.

I sometimes wonder with all the carcinogens and chemicals I have been exposed to in my years as a mechanic, how it will effect me as I age further.
