Default Nylon Screws on a Wenzler TR

I just sold the 660's I had on top of the intake so I decided to install my Shaker built Dominator on my other Wenzler top. Since I do plan on using nitrous for occasional heads up 1/8th mile racing. I went ahead and installed all nylon screws to hold down the top which has a homemade mounting gasket and black RTV to seal it. I know using nylon screws is practically mandatory on a sheet metal intake but are they really beneficial on a cast intake?

I'm guessing if you get a N2O backfire they pop and break vs popping the intake itself if stronger bolts are used.
