Got to Bettendorf today and didn't get to the show area until things had quieted way down... down side is that a lot of cars were covered... UP side is that I had almost no people around.
1 of 16 '62 SD GP (AMAZING if real - I don't know the car) 66 GP 64 Bonne ragtop (killer pair of DarkSiders) 68 Ventura 428 4 speed ("Last Call!") 64 Star Chief and Cat (Dual "quads"?) - I like the Star Chief - it embodies the DRIVEN DarkSider. 62(?) Tempest gasser in HEAVY flake. THIS kicks ASS. Enjoy the pics!

63 Cat Safari with a clutch...
I have to geek out for a second... note the bumper steps, backup lamp deletes, and no roof rack. This car is a killer long roof.

The '68 Ventura has to be Jon Havens car from St. Louis.
He bought it brand new. He rebuilds tri-powers. Guess what's under the hood. And he doesn't own a trailer.

Hi Matt, Wish I was there . Thanks for the great pics, keep them comin'. Love me some big ol' Pontiacs. Left to right: I-70 headed east to the 2009 Co-vention in Dayton, GP Chapter 2006 Spirit Cruise from Rapid City ND to Ontario CA-famous Wall Drug east of Rapid City, now closed LACR GP ran low 14s in 6500 ft. da, GP being judged at 2005 POCI Convention held in Greenville NC-Gold Award/392 points. We drove 5500 miles on this trip and averaged 12mpg with progressive style dual quads. Sharren said that we could have flown first class for less than the premium gas bill .

It's an early 1950s Dodge. You can see the 'Job Rated' emblem on the side of the front fender.
