JS hit it,they dont want to do a complete car,his shops are back logged on insurance work. The shop I used to use and does classic cars just got too busy for them.My 69 judge was there for 2 years,a friend car is there and just coming out after 3 years.Getting a car done in socal for any reasonable cost is REALLY hard.Im thrilled with the deal and the quality I got.Carry on.The one thing for sure I will not break my rule again, never buy a car that need body and paint.PERIOD!Tom

It's mounted in between the inner and outer fender above drivers side tire. It's mounted to a custom plate they made, which can be seen on the bench in this photo in the top left corner. That bracket then bolts to the inner fender from beneath, inside wheel well. Remove the tire to access bolts. Unbolt it and the assembly slides forward towards the battery for service. There's enough wire slack to make it possible.
My only instructions were to get it off the fender and minimize it's visual appearance. I was thinking just mounting it lower towards the battery. This was a work of art and ingenuity. I was very pleased. ![]() ![]()

Yes, under the dash would have been good but, well, I didn't pay for them to re-wire the whole thing I guess.

WTF? You think he is just waiting for someone like you to ask so that he can surprise us all with the fact it is finished? I’m sure when it’s done he will be happy to share the success without any prompting.
How’s your car coming? Is AMD done? You got the frame finished? Give it a break. |

The one year anniversary of dropping it off is less than a week off. The sheet metal is hung and either the door skin or the qtr (both repop) is short, leaving a terrible gap. Ready to paint IF that ever gets fixed.
