It's mounted in between the inner and outer fender above drivers side tire. It's mounted to a custom plate they made, which can be seen on the bench in this photo in the top left corner. That bracket then bolts to the inner fender from beneath, inside wheel well. Remove the tire to access bolts. Unbolt it and the assembly slides forward towards the battery for service. There's enough wire slack to make it possible.
My only instructions were to get it off the fender and minimize it's visual appearance. I was thinking just mounting it lower towards the battery. This was a work of art and ingenuity. I was very pleased.
