One thing I always have is an open mind.

Like the Torque Thrust style 5 spokes, yes, they have been done to death on everything, but I love them for me.

However, the Honeycombs have come in and I like them as they are not common at all.

Regarding the mouldings, I am in the U.K. And in 2015 I flew home from Dallas with 85kg in spares in my baggage, including a 2.1 meter long ski Bag for my side trim and bed strips for the truck.

They will always be awkward to move, depending on the longest length piece.

I have no idea what the mouldings on the car will look like and remember everything we brin into the UK has to add cost for shipping and even import duties.

If we bring a car or truck in, the shipping alone is around $3000'so you reallly have a hard core of fans here.

Interesting.y, I am fitting Rallyes back onto my truck, removing the chrome smoothies.

I love chrome by the bucket load but steel wheels and caps work for me, along with beauty or trim rings.

Agreed, I guess if I do a mild 2" static drop, the Honeycombs may look better.

Right after I moved to Raleigh, a 71 Pontiac wagon showed up for sale in the local bargain trader. It looks identical to yours, light green with woodgrain down the side and green bench seat interior.

The car was a real oddball, 350 2-barrel, 3-speed manual tranny, no a/c. If my memory is correct, it was a manual drum brake car.

Body was great other than it needed a tailgate, but the wood grain and lack of a/c killed it for me.

This car is an oddball too, manual windows for instance.

Does not bother me, as I like it for what it looks like.



Hope it turns out worth the money the seller wants for it.


Got a couple of insurance quotes yesterday, in English money £250/year including limited recovery and 3000 miles use
The second company was £190/ year for the same deal.

In England the road tax is free on pre 75 cars too.
If this was a modern with the 350 motor, the road tax would be £400/year and silly insurance costs.
