I noticed that as well, along with what ever roof extension they used. I wonder if it had/has a rear hatch?

I found this 2nd image of the Parts Truck that explains the large front license plate holder (DUH!!!) but still does not show if it has a rear hatch.
Then just for fun I found this GM designed Bat Man Corvette

The 80s firebird picture takes me right back when I was a kid and seeing those cars around with wild metal flake jobs and flared fenders , normally all that bondo didn't age well...
The girls are lovely with the Farrah Fawcett bangs! Man I was in love with the Angels and Daisy Duke... This thread is awesome. |

Well, that '' 80s Firebird'' was obviously a 71 or 72 but Mike now you are proving that the car was clearly done before the 80s !

That's cool Mike, now I want to find that issue and see whats up with the Pontiac bracket racer test.
And no way was I saying that was an 80s Firebird! Excuse me for not being more clear about the time frame and style of the cars back in the day!

Given the Nor'Easter we just had I think back to when I was in 1st grade and we had the biggest storm in the history of Montreal and it was in March also.
You can't look at a picture of Montreal from that era without seeing a few Canadian Pontiacs (they actually outsold Chevy in the late 60's). http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ng9V7JoA5e...rch+4_1971.jpg

Here's a couple 1935 pics for you Pontiac production plant fans. The wheel chute is fascinating.

I have converted some old family slides and thought I would post up some of the car shots. There are 18 total and ill try to provide what I know about them but most of them are from 66 - 68 and since I was born in 67 I don't actually remember most
![]() \ The first 3 are of a drag strip that is unknown, Mom and Dad took me on my first trip after I was born in the summer of 67. The trip was through South Dakota and Wyoming for sure so the strip was probably up there.

This set is of my Dads 66 or 67 Malibu convertible , love these shots of the camper in tow. one is the badlands camp ground , one is some random restaurant , and the last is in front of Devils Tower.

Most of these were before my time, I think the lake shots are from 66 and that its lake Okiboji since I know we had a place up there. The 64 wagon shows up a few times in the pics I have , I think it was my grand parents. The shot of the TR3 is my uncles car with my grandpa at the wheel, the 66 GTO in the back ground on the street was the neighbors sons , this shot was taken in May of 68.

One of these is the Parking lot in Colorado Skiing, don't know where they were for sure. One is of a Vet in Mitchell South Dakota outside the corn palace, my dad must not of heard it coming and he must have thought it ruined the shot because the next slide was the same pic minus the Vet
