Made the trip to Chuck's Engines yesterday. Chuck has her breathing once again...and breathing very well I might add!...
The TH350 Trans is a total rebuild and is ready to install...

Thanks Chuck Peterson for everything you have done for me! It is an honor to have you as a friend!...

I have a video of the 350 running on the stand. You will need to visit this Facebook page to check it out!

Made some serious progress yesterday. Mated the Trans and the Poncho 350 and shoe-horned them into place. She fit like a glove...
Removed the Front End for an easy install of the Engine/Trans. I needed to secure the front fenders having removed the radiator Core. Installed hooks in the ceiling and used straps to hold them in place...
I now have the honor of making sure everything finds a place to live....the alternator, power steering pump, lines, fuel pump, etc....:3

Kurt,
Boy, it really makes it easy to get the engine/ trans in the bay with no front sheet metal!
I also have to remove the radiator support to R and R; how did you attach the other end of the straps from the fenders? Ceiling studs?
Also, any pictures of the support modification from 70 to 71?

WC,
Yes I used Porch Swing hooks drilled into the rafter studs....Worked like a charm.
I don't have any further photos for the support..do have the top removed from the 71 core...should be a cakewalk from here on the core....I will post photos when we get it welded up..will do that when it goes to paint....
Will get the car running next. I will post photos of the core as it is now....

Thanks WC

About ready for the Core Support and Radiator. Ordered the GTO exhaust and chrome splitters. Get them installed along with the wiring and the shifter linkage.....It'll be time to fire her up....

Started work on the new 1970 Core Support. I drilled out the spot welds and removed the top from the 1970, ground the rough spots, primed and painted. Ready to tack the top from my 1971 Core....
Also reinstalled the driver's door now that the new pins and bushings have been installed. ...
The original radiator with it's tag still intact.....

Kurt,
Your car is going to be awesome when you are done. Thanks for the photo of the fender strap supports and radiator support modifications.
Can't wait for the video of the engine running in your car!

Need some information regarding the center caps for the Rally I....
Has anyone had a set of these caps on Corvette rallys 15 x 8?
I have included a couple of photos. I am looking to possibly use my Corvette wheels and try finding a set of Rally I caps if they WILL fit the wheels.....

Kurt,
What happened to the Torque Thrust D's you were going to use? I thought they looked great!
