I hope they just forgot the decimal point and meant $100.00

That DE RAM AIR "vanity" plate isn't worth what he's asking. Maybe worth 500.00 and that's a lot. I've seen it at a few shows the past several years on a Firebird.

It's not even "Exempt".... a classic car plate where you don't have to pay for the registration (1st time out you do) every 1 or 2 years, and no state inspection every two years. The only drawback is you can only go to a repair shop or cars shows. It's written on the registration slip. So if you're only out for a joyride thru the week, you probably will be stopped and probably will get a ticket too. I've seen it happen to a guy driving a 58 Olds in the middle of the week.

The lower the numbers on original black DE plates can be worth very big bucks. I have a original black plate that's maybe worth 2000.00. But that's only if someone wants it bad enough. One guy had a low numbered 3 digit black plate that he sold for $400,000.... true... a big company here bought. No not DuPont. LOL 1 and 2 digit plates go for even more.. way more. You can even have a regular 5 digit ptate switched to a black plate, but they aren't worth nearly as much as an original.

Considering the care shown with their storage method, no doubt it was well cared for when it wasn't "pulled from body".

My tag actually has four sixes, then my initials .... and it's not a vanity plate, just a random chance.

I knew you could tune a fish but I didn't even know you could tune a wrench.
I do like what he's saying though. Not a terrible looking project actually.
