Default 69 Trans Am on eBay

This guy seems VERY angry. Would like to know what site he is speaking off as there is nothing on here about his car. Anyways he has two T/A’s up for sale on eBay.

I saw what he is talking about on another Pontiac site. He has every reason in the world to be pissed off.In short, a bunch of idiots that can’t read started talking about data and vin tags swaps.

I have had dealings with this seller several times over the last 25 year's. Great person to deal with. Has nice stuff, buys nice stuff. Everybody complaining are not buying nothing anyway. Ridiculous.

I couldn’t see any evidence of what he said they were claiming. Looks legit to me although I did snicker when it said mostly original drivetrain, minus the original block and carb.

Default 69 Trans Am on eBay

After reading the posts an comments, I’m gonna say I bet the collective total of all poster IQ’s is less then the total number of 69 Trans Ams produced

Here's the 2nd one that was being auctioned.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Pontia...p2047675.l2557

Selfishly, I wish he would have posted the PHS docs without hiding the VINs. On another thread here, north and I are both collecting '69 'bird data. Would have welcomed the chance to add them to my log.

I have a pretty good idea of the VIN for the first one. Fairly late build although Norwood assembled about 3000 'birds and quite a few Trans Ams after this one.

But the 2nd one looks to have been sold by bid as a used but untitled car (therefore still with a new car warranty I believe) probably several months after it was built. Possibly used as a Zone manager company car until first wholesaled to Whelan Pontiac as the winning bidder on 11/18/69. Note, it was sold from the Newark Zone location 29-991 but since it was sold by a bid process, it was not an unused Zone inventory build. I think it was also Norwood built if I'm reading the Invoice Identification No. correctly, possibly a pretty early Norwood TA.

Wish I could log the VINs.
