While rooting around in the basement at my old house a few weeks ago, I found a complete set of power locks that I removed from a 1969 SJ I took apart. I parted his car out around 1988 and saved all of the lines, the switches, the vacuum cannister. I took photos with the intention of putting the set on Ebay, but I never got around to it.
Is there any demand for this, and what's a ballpark value on it? |

It is worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Start on the high side and see. You can always go down, you can't go up.
Do some research though, they (or at least some of the parts) may fit an A body. If that is the case it will greatly effect the value. |

All the components interchange with the A body except the switches (A body used door panel mount). A bodies only had vacuum locks in 69, before that power locks were not offered and in 70 and up they use electric systems instead. I would think the real variable for value will be the condition of the switch plate bezels. They are very prone to pitting.

I have successfully installed the 69 GP vacuum locks in my GTO. North was correct about the switches... The GTO used the same switch as the Bonneville and Catalina setups. I have pulled many sets off of cars in boneyards. The only thing you have to do is shorten the length of the switch hoses. The GTO is in a different position than the GP. In Poncho-mike's picture I see the door lock catch mechanism. DO NOT use those because the GP lock assy is different than the GTO. The GTO door lock catch mechanism has the same hookup as the GP to accept the vacuum door lock servo rod. Ball park range is $175 for the complete setup. Only thing with your setup is if the GTO does not have power windows, they need to purchase the accordion boot that goes between the door & cowl. Lastly the misc parts to the right of the picture (long rods, etc) are also not needed. The GP has a different spot where the door handle release is and those will not work on the GTO. To save yourself a headache, test the assy. All you need is a vacuum source and you can test it. If you do not have this available, atleast test the servos. Hold your thumb on one nipple and try to pull the rod one way. The nipples are a "push - pull" one side pulls a vacuum and the other side supplies air. If these are bad, the setup is not worth selling as a whole... just the vacuum canister and multi-hose servo is worth selling... Any questions, let me know... Gp Mike
