I am trying to determine if I should put the door and rear 1/4 glass aluminum trim on before the installation of the glass or after?
Also does the order impact the installation of the weather strip? Thank you, Chris |

I'd put it on before glass installation. It does not interfere with glass installation. That's what I did with my '64 Post. Glass installation and adjustment is a challenge, but with patience and a few days, you'll get it right.

The amazing thing to me is that the people on the assy. line in 1964 had about 15 seconds to install & align the windows. They would still be laughing at me if they saw how I spent DAYS getting these installed and working right. It always amazes me how many people do not bother to get the windows adjusted correctly after they spend so much on bodywork, etc. It's especially obvious on hardtops.

Does anyone have any tips on getting the B Pillar (1/4 Rear Window) vertical trim to attach? Having a lot of difficulties on the center clip catching properly on the factor clip. I have the 3 clips in the recessed area on the B Pillar.

I'm pretty sure it just snaps on. No clips needed.
There is a video on You Tube show step by step install on either a 64 or 65. |

Not sure what you mean middle clip. Are you speaking of the verticle pieces?
I'll check my pictures and see if I have something that will help. |
