He will be coming to POCI and looks forward to seeing everyone. Be sure to congratulate him on his distinguished recognition when you see him.

Was there a plaque or just a handshake?

Get him one of those "Participation" trophies they give to millennials. He'll love that!

This old 72 Formula was probably THE toughest and awesomest Pontiac built in 1972.
Its really something else Bob.
Practically exceeds justice the way you and Dave have groomed it over the years.
Spectacular man

But what the hell is that red looking car over to the side ?
I haven't been on here much for years , did you get a Super Duty ?

Even a blind pig finds an acorn every so often. MPD got a tip about an old friend that had a stash of Pontiac parts and needed cash quick. We bought them sight unseen and it included this gem - an 8436 starter. It’s early for my car, and the Black Car already has a correct one, but i really want 1970 RAIV Trans Am one day so this goes on the shelf and is not for sale.

Needless to say all the other parts were almost free and there are some other good ones.

I should mention, that if anyone has a lead on a ‘70 TA to please send me a PM. Any condition would be appreciated. Build a car around a starter - Hah.

The starter is one of the hardest parts to find, so your may as well start there.

Hemmings lists a '70 RAIV for only a quarter of a million.

Matt has his blue one & his white one listed over on the Yenko board.

I think Gary has one or two (or more) give him a call.

So the final tuning on the Black Car is about done. The carpet install and interior re-installation is done. The rockers have also been buffed to clean up the scratches and shelf wear from me MPD. I’ve also gotten all the exterior molding polished with a first round of Happich Simichrome and a second round of Dell’s Metal Polish. Just a few more things to do before the car gets bagged up for POCI.

Bob, you and MPD should have your own TV show! Car looks amazing. Another Concours Gold is in store!
