Thumbs up That's a fuel bowl vent baffle.

It's supposed to keep fuel from sloshing out of the vertical vent tube under hard acceleration or cornering or braking, depending on which end of the carb it is installed on.

It's upside down in your pic........

The pic I've attached shows the correct installation.

We always put them back on. Holley knew what they were doing.
