Sonny's customers are the deep-checkbook folks who want the best and can go wherever they want to get it. That says a lot more useful information than no-cost internet chatter.

Bill fixed several issues on my wideports a few years ago. No complaints here.

There are other porters who have posted here, and none of them, not one spews the crap that you do.
You have to give that ****e away just to have a chance of putting it on a real race car.
Those piles were circling the drain after Brians crack job. You had better hope no one else has a severe problem like that or your deal is done. I mean DONE.
... Lmao, I thought my post was relative and very on point ...

For the life of me I couldn't understand why logic, reason and civil talk didn't work to inform the ECM (perfectly chosen name as relates to criminal behavior) of facts and intentions.

Then I came across these two photographs which explained it all.

Sorry for trying to be civil.

Sonny’s was good before Bill got there.

If he is that good he should start his own business and rotate the earth.

America is the land of opportunity.

Sonny's New Pro Mod 5.300" head. (emphasis on the word "new")
700 cfm
$21,400 a pair.

Nice stuff for the big checkbook customers.

You pulled a misspelling out of another thread ? OK cool.
Not saying Twin cannot port a head, not at all. He did not design the CV. I am sure he is trying to fix it.
What I am trying to say is he would be far better off just staying off the boards with his vile mouth.
I do not see any other business people/porters coming on here and behaving like he does. Throwing insults and names around. They stay out of it, its beneath them. Nothing to gain, can only lose. They let their work/products speak for itself.
And I am not talking about giving away his Sonny stuff. I am sure people pay big bucks for it.
Never met Twin. But I am POSITIVE he treats others around him like he does folks here. Yells at people, calls them names and hangs up the phone. Then calls them up the next day like no big deal. Real piece of work.
A CV engine with twin turbos WILL make big power. That is not in question. Marty made 1600HP+ with 265cfm iron D ports. The question is reliability. Its never been done before with that head so they have some work in front of them. And that is not a knock, simply true. Any 2500+ HP CV engines around running run after run ?
Me and Scott, who I respect like you, went back and forth over something small and trivial and it was over. Then he wants to jump in calling names.
He is better off staying above it all.

Nah man I'm good. If Twin Bill stopped dragging up stuff and calling names he would be better off.
Its a bad look to potential customers. Who would wan't to deal with that.
Hope yours and your sons efforts go well. I pay attention, impressed.

You never met the man. I have as have many others. I've never been admonished, yelled at or even called names.
If you knew Bill ( or open your mind a bit) you would find that if he's yelling or name calling there is more to it than is apparent to you. Bill has no fear of calling things as they really are. No BS, no lies, no wish sandwiches or wishy washed politically correct statements.

AND... He is NOT TRYING TO FIX SOMETHING THATS NOT BROKEN!!! Like any GOOD porter he obviously is going to improve things over as cast, but that doesn't mean it's flawed.

After the first 100 sets sold and enough demand for another run the cv1.1 came to be. Basically the same basic port shape but downsized a tid for smaller stock blocks with more "meat" on outer port walls to allow flows far beyond original castings WITHOUT WELDING. There are CNC port options that Bill developed and digitized years ago . Btw it's not as simple as just "magnifying" a smaller port.

100 sets sold, that’s awesome.

They just decided to make the port smaller just because?

You drink the Koolaid.

Am I missing something here? I do not see Bill's name or picture. I was trying to see if I had met him before?

I would want to know the last time that web page was updated.

It shows Dennis porting a head. I had heard sometime ago from my friend that Dennis had retired.
