The WarBird looks based more from the early to mid 80's body style.

Yeah, looks like Don Prudhomme's old 1982 funny car.

Sometimes 2nd hand info will have to do. As long as it is good info.
I would like to see Norwalk some day. But the 2K or so I would spend on the trip needs to go towards my engine.
Intake is coming up, Marcellas not cheap. But I get a work of art back so its all good.

Billet usually means solid piece you can carve into anything you want. .I doubt the old program would be duplicated. Why would you? If they are used originals I doubt they'd be used as ported back then.

Doesn't seem hard to figure.

Purple seems to be the go-to color for this team/ownership.
Think that was a purple ATV pit road hauler in garage too.

WarBird has R&B Total Performance on quarter panels to match R&B butterflies.
Think you nailed all those parts completely.
But - we don't know that its the full exact same spec 7.9 second engine , necessarily.

No doubt its gonna be a fast one , either way.

He's calling for 1.5 secs faster than 7.4

Probably around 1 second faster just in the car switch
then whatever voodoo magic is under that hat now .

I wish them the best of luck.

I just don't ever see it happening. Ever if reducing weight by 100 pounds is a .1 second reduction in time (which it is not)

3450 - 2300 = 1150 pounds reduction

7.40 - ((1150 / 100) * .1) = 6.25 new et

They get a reduction for minus weight
then the advantages of mid-engine FunnyCar chassis
then aero factors of body
then whatever additional gypsy voodooo magic newly added under the hat

= 5.973 with the Newton calculator

(Fig Newton - not Isaac)

It must already be doing some lazy low 6's if they feel 5.9's coming
